What does garden maintenance in Bulgaria include?
Garden maintenance can include lawn mowing, hedge and shrub trimming, seasonal cleanup, leaf clearing, basic pruning, clearing around paths and fences, and scheduled property-care visits. The correct maintenance frequency depends on the season, rainfall, plant growth and how intensively the property is used.

Who needs garden maintenance?
This service is ideal if you own a property in Bulgaria and need reliable garden care.
Many of our clients live abroad and need someone local to maintain their property while they are away. We also work with landlords, villa owners, property managers, and commercial clients who need regular grounds maintenance.
Regular garden maintenance
Regular maintenance keeps your property under control.
If a garden is maintained often, the work is faster and cheaper. If it is left for months, the grass, weeds, hedges, and shrubs can quickly become difficult to manage.
We can arrange one-time visits or ongoing maintenance during spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
Seasonal garden cleanup
We also handle seasonal garden cleanup before guests arrive, before a property viewing, or after a long period without maintenance.
For overgrown gardens, we usually ask for photos or a short video first. This helps us understand the size of the job and the equipment needed.
Areas we cover
We provide garden maintenance services in Sofia, Etropole, Veliko Tarnovo, Botevgrad, Pravets, Central Bulgaria, and nearby villages.

Why Bulgarian gardens need seasonal maintenance
Garden conditions vary substantially across Bulgaria. According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, average annual precipitation during the 1991–2020 reference period ranges from roughly 500–550 mm in some lowland areas to 1,000–1,200 mm in mountain areas.
Weather can also change sharply from year to year. NIMH reported that summer 2025 was Bulgaria’s driest since 1930, while June rainfall was 74% below the climate norm and July was 68% below normal. This is one reason we assess garden condition rather than applying the same maintenance plan to every property.
Once an overgrown garden is brought back under control, regular maintenance is normally simpler, faster and easier to budget than repeated heavy clear-outs.

Garden maintenance questions
Do you offer one-time and recurring garden maintenance?
Yes. We can handle one-time seasonal cleanup, recovery of an overgrown garden, or recurring maintenance visits depending on the property and season.
Do I need to be at the property to receive a quote?
Not always. Current photos or a short video can often give us enough information for an initial assessment. Larger, complex or badly overgrown properties may require an on-site visit.
Does hot or dry weather change the maintenance plan?
Yes. Grass growth, cutting frequency and the stress placed on lawns and plants change with temperature and rainfall. Maintenance should respond to actual conditions rather than follow exactly the same schedule throughout the year.
What affects the cost of garden maintenance?
Property size, vegetation density, access, slope, hedge and shrub volume, green waste, travel distance and visit frequency are the main factors we assess.
